Why would Corporations want to develop/deploy ASP on UNIX/Linux?

NT and Windows 2000 servers are known to have many problems compare to Unix performance and reliability.

Most Corporations are very concerned with their service’s up-time and performance and thus require an environment with Web servers running on UNIX or Linux operating systems.
